We have been busy little critters lately! Rhandi and Graham have been busy training and completing Ragnar Relay Tennessee. Cayman and Hudson have been busy Dragons and Tigers. Bumpa took time out of his busy schedule to come and stay with us and watch the boys while we were in TN. Our family Jewel- sweet sweet Quinn has been busy being just perfect, smiling and happily going along with whatever our busy little family is up to.
Ragnar Relay- Chatanooga TN to Nashville TN- 196 miles- 12 runners- 24 hours - Tons of FUN!
Both Graham and I have done Ragnar Relays before (Washington State and Southern California) but it has been a while. It was a great way to get us both back into shape. I just had a baby and I am really proud of myself for pounding out 19.5 miles 12 weeks after giving birth. Graham was the team stud, he had the longest total millage (20.5) but even more so, he had some really, really tough legs up some gnarly hills and kept a super quick pace. We ran the race with new friends from our church ward and we had an absolute blast. It was wonderful to spend time with my best friend and have a little break (THANKS DAD). Since I am an exclusive breastfeeding Mama, Quinn came along, she was SUCH a good sport and was so good that everyone kept saying they forgot she was with us. Thank you Quinn, that would have been a rough weekend had you not complied (she's already a natural- maw ha ha ha, I am creating my powerhouse running minion already). Quinn helping Daddy prepare for his first leg of the race.
The Girls from our van- we had so much fun!
The Runners. . . .
James- the Pearl Jamin Runner
Parie- strong and quick this little thing!
Graham, definitely our MVP and master Navigator
Rhandi-I think I was listening to "Gettin Jiggy Wit It" and feeling silly around 1am. Gotta love a little Will Smith to keep the wheels turning. Aweee Yea!
Kendra- funnest gal around and a good runner to boot!
Melissa- Inspired us all! Her very first race, she did an Ragnar and ran 15 miles (most people start with a 5K) and she had by far had the hardest, most backbreaking hill of the entire race! She is a stud and reached her goal of never walking!
A few action shots . . .
A few funny pics of Hudson, man, this kid is so much fun! I wish you were all around to play with this little guy!
Cayman loves to pose for the Camera . . .
This is his "beautiful" face
"thinking hard"
This is his, "cool face"
Fun Times with Bumpa . . .
Quinn at 3 1/2 months . . . still as sweet and perfect as can be.
A few Halloween Shots . . .
Cayman at his Preschool Halloween Parade
Hudson still wears his Tiger costume almost everyday and it's January (Yes, I am just a little behind on posting).
Trick or Treating (this is what happens when you leave the photo taking up to dad, better then nothing)
